The My GM Rewards Card™ card can potentially help lower some of those car-related expenses. The $0-annual-fee card, issued by Goldman Sachs, earns rewards for General Motors Co. purchases as well as everyday spending. Those rewards, however, are only valuable toward GM-specific costs.

How do GM card points work?
Cardmembers will earn 7 points total for every dollar spent on the My GM Rewards Card on eligible purchases at GM. Eligible purchases include service, parts and accessories purchased at participating My GM Rewards Card dealerships or online, less credits and returns.
Do GM card points expire?
Cardmembers may earn and redeem points at participating GM dealers. Cardmember points are earned on eligible purchases and do not expire.
Does GM still have a credit card?
Gold and Platinum rewards members can now redeem points toward the purchase of GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and their points do not expire. GM is ending its credit card partnership with Capital One in late February. The card will remain part of the MasterCard lineup.

How much are my GM reward points worth?
Earn and Redeem with Us Earn 1 point for every $5 spent. Redeem up to $2,000 allowance per calendar year on an eligible, new GM vehicle purchase or lease. Earn 3 points for every $1 spent. Redeem up to $225 per calendar year on Paid GM Certified Service, eligible accessories†(10) and GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts.
