Does CareNow do blood work?
Open seven days a week and available on a walk-in basis, CareNow offers over 50 different medical tests and exams for patients over 3 months old. Some lab tests, such as a complete blood count, can be performed on-site for quick diagnosis and treatment.

Who is CareNow owned by?
HCA
HCA has purchased CareNow, a privately held chain of 24 urgent care centers serving Dallas-Fort Worth. Financial terms were not disclosed. When the deal is finalized, CareNow will become a division of HCA, which already operates 11 hospitals and more than 50 ambulatory care sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Does urgent care have free Covid testing?
How is it at no cost? We are providing COVID-19 testing to our patients by participating in the CARES Act! The CARES Act Federal program only covers noninsured individuals. If you have insurance, it is required for us to file your insurance and collect patient responsibility until your insurance claim is processed.
What does a routine blood test look for?
A typical routine blood test is the complete blood count, also called CBC, to count your red and white blood cells as well as measure your hemoglobin levels and other blood components. This test can uncover anemia, infection, and even cancer of the blood.
Can you get blood drawn two days in a row?
If your test results stay the same after a day or two, you may not need them again. More tests won’t tell your doctor anything new, unless you’re in intensive care or your treatment changes. Less testing doesn’t hurt you. There’s no harm in having fewer tests.
