In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of Sakura-Con 2021. Active 2021 memberships will be automatically transferred to 2022.
Why is it called Sakura-Con?
Con, (baka or ばか is Japanese for idiot,) the first convention was held at the Double Tree Inn in Tukwila, Washington in 1998. Con changed its name to Sakura-Con, (sakura or 桜 (alternately: さくら) is Japanese for cherry blossom).
