You can pre-purchase your parking online for $11, a $4 savings. Parking is free for Members. Parking for Holiday at the Arboretum at night is included with night time admission.
Can you bring water into the Arboretum?
The Dallas Arboretum invites guests to bring in their own coolers, food and drink, including beverages for adults and children, to craft the right picnic experience for their tastes and needs.
Do you have to wear masks at the Arboretum?
While at the Arboretum, please observe the following: Masks must be worn in indoor spaces. Mask are optional in outdoor spaces. The Arboretum is a place of wonder for children of all ages.
Is alcohol allowed in Arboretum?
Note: alcohol is banned in Nairobi Arboretum, and you won’t be allowed in with any. For the nature fans amongst you, the Arboretum has plenty to keep you busy. The forest is home to Sykes and Vervet monkeys, over 100 resident and migrant bird species, and over 300 species of exotic and indigenous trees.
Is Morton Arboretum parking free?
Parking is free at the Arboretum. Visitors will find 33 parking lots along the roads winding through the Arboretum, all indicated on the maps.
How much is the Arboretum at Overland Park?
The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are open year-round, but hours vary depending on the time of year. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 5.

What is the new visitor center at Overland Park?
The City of Overland Park is building a new visitor center that will provide community and learning spaces and more opportunities to enjoy nature at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Construction on the west side of the Arboretum property (shown in the video here) will begin in August 2021.
When does the arboretum close&open?
At the Arboretum, you’ll experience gardens with more than 1,700 species of plants, a variety of landscapes, including meticulous gardens, wild hiking trails, and open prairie, and different educational opportunities around every bend in the path. The Arboretum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. The Arboretum will close at noon on June 25.
